The main focus of this new position will be to expand Seeders’ SEO offerings with automation-led SEO and future-proof AI SEO (GEO) products. By bridging organic and paid search, Seeders is shaping this into a ‘Search Everywhere Optimization’ proposition.

Innovation first

Search behavior is evolving, and conversational (generative) search is now part of the mix. That’s why Seeders is increasing its focus on service development and continuous improvement across its SEO teams.

Van Gent will drive the development of proprietary tools that bridge the gap between companies and their audiences, helping them get found wherever people search, and will guide enterprise SEO strategy and roadmaps across all accounts.

In addition, van Gent will lead Seeders’ SEO Knowledge Center, internal education and thought leadership, standard frameworks, and scalable ways of working across international teams.

Van Gent is excited about his new position, stating:

A new definition for SEO

This appointment serves as the final piece of the puzzle following Seeders’ strategic acquisition of Tribal Agency last year. As the digital landscape shifts away from the traditional "ten blue links" towards AI Overviews, more SERP features, etc., Seeders is championing a "Search Everywhere" philosophy. 

Modern consumers no longer search exclusively on Google; they use platforms like Bol.com, Amazon, and Pinterest for example, for specific transactional or inspirational needs. 

The integration of Tribal’s capabilities initially set this broader scope in motion. Now, with van Gent’s leadership, Seeders completes the picture, offering a holistic approach that optimizes the entire ecosystem, ensuring clients are visible on every platform where their audience searches.
