Dr Smile’s dedication to transforming smiles internationally led them to partner with Seeders for a digital marketing journey, aimed at smoothing their operation of link building activities for the most relevant countries. Despite having resources, Dr Smile faced challenges in executing link building activities independently. Notably, they expressed satisfaction with Seeder’s work, emphasising the importance of maintaining link quality.
Dr Smile noticed the first cracks in Sweden and Italy early on, so quality links were crucial. Seeders did start by looking at each country’s situation, and analyse the options and best approach for each individual country. The original scope was for a lot of countries at the same time. We focused on finding links from medical-related websites to boost Dr Smile’s online presence in the specific niche.
The Strategy
Seeders crafted a targeted approach focused on building backlinks for Dr Smile’s most critical and relevant landing pages, alongside bolstering their overall authority in the digital landscape. By analysing top Google Search results, Seeders devised bespoke strategies tailored to each country’s unique needs.
Although specific targets were not initially set, collaborative discussions with Dr Smile led to the establishment of clear goals. By the end of 2024, the aim was to increase organic traffic to account for 33% of the total traffic, a significant leap from the initial 8%. This ambitious target guided our efforts throughout the collaboration.
Seeders tailored packages and strategies to align with the unique needs and priorities of Dr Smile’s key markets. As the project progressed, adjustments were made to optimise performance. In April 2024, for instance, we made the strategic decision to reallocate resources from link building efforts in a specific country to focus more on other countries, based on evolving insights and opportunities.
